  The  Basic Model:  this was developed for people who use optical therapies, or tonations -  Visual therapists have their clients look at a circle of light  to achieve a variety of physiological and emotional improvements.  For this purpose there is  an optional light shield which helps keep  the white light from entering their visual field  while they look at the circle of colored light from about 16 inches away.  This application reqires a stand.  We suggest purchasing a telescoping microphone stand from a music store. We can supply  adaptors for $10ea.  For accomplishing tonations (simply shining the colored light onto the surface of the body as per Dinshah)  the unit may be hand-held or used with a stand .

The light source is a Xenon gas tube, supplying full-spectrum visible light with little or no UV emanation.

The unit is turned on using an in-line switch at the rear of the unit.

The pulse rate (pulses per second) is adjusted by turning the small knob on the rear of the unit.  It is adjustable from approximately 2- 10 pulses per second.

This unit comes with a set of 12 color gel slides. Changing colors is as easy as choosing a color slide and placing it in the slot at the top of the unit. 

Be sure to place the unit in an area where there is adequate ventilation and do not cover the openings on the device.

Bulb Replacement: These bulbs do not use filaments and will last an incredibly long time (I estimate about 11 years with daily use). If there is a problem within the warranty period (1 year) then send it back to Lightforms and I will replace or repair the unit at no cost other than shipping and handling ($10). After the warranty period, I will replace the bulb and circuit board for $56. plus $10 S&H
